Must Haves

Strong alignment with our Core Values
8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ETL development
5+ years of experience leading a data engineering team or project.
5+ years of experience in Apache Spark or Databricks
3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services
5+ years of experience building, deploying, and optimizing data ingestion pipelines
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience with real-time data streaming (e.g., Flink, Spark Structured Streaming, Kafka Streams)
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Haves

Proven experience hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers.
Experience transitioning teams or platforms during high-pressure projects.
Ability to scale teams and processes in a growing company.
Familiarity with tools such as Apache Kafka, Delta Lake, Apache Hive, Apache Impala, Apache Beam
Experience working in a startup environment
Experience in cybersecurity or sensitive data protection
Bilingual in English and French
Strategic preference for candidates residing in Quebec or Ontario
