Privacy Policy

Updated May 22, 2024

Qohash Inc., a Canadian corporation, taken together with its subsidiary Qohash Solutions Inc. (“Qohash“, “we”, “us”, “our“) takes your privacy and the protection of your Personal Information (as defined below) seriously. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy“) describes our privacy practices, the types of Personal Information we may receive or collect from you and how we use, disclose, store and secure it, so that you can make informed choices.

This Policy applies to websites, the various services and tools that we offer (the “Services”) and other interactions that you may have with us (e.g., inquiries, support service, etc.) (taken together, our “Platforms“). In addition, a separate agreement governs the access, and use of the different Services we offer, (the “MSA”), including the processing of any data submitted through the Services. The entity, whether it is your employer or another entity or person, that agreed to the MSA is a “Customer” and controls its instance of the Services and any associated data provided through it.

However, we wish to draw your attention to the fact that the rights and obligations described in this Policy do not cover third-party websites that may be linked to or mentioned on our Platforms. These third-party websites have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to read them carefully.

We ask that you read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding the collection, processing and storage of Personal Information, or any other information in order to give us your informed consent where appropriate. If you do not consent to this Policy, then you may not use the Platforms.

Furthermore, in order to protect your Personal Information, we have put in place policies, practices and procedures relating to the management of the Personal Information we hold.

These internal policies and procedures govern the collection, use, disclosure, retention and destruction of personal information, as well as complaint handling, information security and data governance at Qohash. They also provide the framework for the implementation of Privacy Impact Assessments (as defined in applicable laws), where required, as well as the prevention of and response to potential privacy incidents. All these policies and practices have been approved by our Privacy Officer (as defined below).

For the Purposes (as defined below) of this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information about an identifiable individual, including information that can be used alone or in combination with other information to identify, contact or locate a single individual.

The Personal Information we collect may include, but is not limited to:

  • Any Personal information provided during your interaction with us, including with our sale team, customer support or other team member to provide you with information or assist you with your use of the Platforms.
  • A Customer can connect third-party services to its instance of the Services. Typically, such third-party services are software services that integrate with our Services, and you can permit your Authorized Users to enable and disable these integrations. Once enabled, the provider of a third-party service may share certain information with Qohash (e.g., if a single sign-on service is used, Qohash could receive the username and email address of Authorized Users, along with additional information that the application has elected to make available to Qohash to facilitate the integration). You should check the privacy settings and notices in these third-party services to understand what data may be disclosed to us. When a third-party service is enabled, Qohash is authorized to connect and access other information made available to Qohash in accordance with any permission(s) granted by you.
