How Qostodian Nexus works

Qostodian Nexus integrates with the AI gateway you already use to manage enterprise AI traffic at scale. It deploys inside your own environment as a container, in your cloud tenant, on-premises, or air-gapped. Once connected, it inspects prompts, file uploads, and tool calls in real time, checking each one against your organization’s live sensitive-data classification before anything reaches the model. Responses can be inspected the same way on the way back.

Most guardrails are stateless. They read the request in front of them and nothing else. Qostodian Nexus is built to integrate with the Qostodian platform, so it can draw on the always-current inventory of sensitive data you already maintain across your estate. That matters most for tool calls and agent access: when an agent asks for a data source, the decision is made against what is actually in that source, in real time.
