You’re a commercially-minded legal professional who has made the leap from a top-tier law firm into the fast-moving world of tech startups. You thrive in environments where business objectives and legal risk must be balanced — not where risk elimination is the default. You are preferably bilingual (EN/FR), deeply familiar with either Ontario or Quebec’s legal landscape, and comfortable engaging directly with enterprise clients, executives, and external legal teams. You understand that at the Series B stage, speed and pragmatism matter as much as precision, and you bring the startup mindset to match.
