The Problem: A Manual Process Holding Growth Hostage

As a data security software firm serving large enterprises, Qohash’s deals are inherently complex, spanning multiple product configurations, currencies, languages, and legal templates. As the company scaled, so did the burden on our deal desk team.

Every day of delay meant heightened risk: deals going cold, errors creeping in through manual calculations, and mounting frustration for sellers who should have been focused on building client relationships. not chasing down paperwork. This is not a niche problem. It is a systemic challenge facing every growing B2B software company, and one that silently drains revenue and competitive momentum.

The Solution: An AI Agent Built in Four Weeks

Rather than investing in a costly, multi-year CPQ platform implementation, Qohash CEO Jean Le Bouthillier set a different vision: build a lean, purpose-built AI agent to automate the deal desk entirely.

In just four weeks, our team built an LLM-powered AI agent called Deal Desk that transformed the entire process. Built on Anthropic’s Claude, the agent was delivered as a web application chatbot integrated directly into the tools our team already uses: HubSpot as the single system of record, Google Drive for document management, and Slack for real-time notifications.

The result was immediate and dramatic.

“We want our sellers focused on customers, while an army of AI agents handles everything else behind the scenes.”

— Jean Le Bouthillier, Founder and CEO, Qohash

What Makes This Different: Accuracy by Design

Speed alone would not have been enough. What made this transformation sustainable was the approach to pricing accuracy. Qohash developed a proprietary pricing calculator that programmatically generates quotes, eliminating the hallucination risks associated with relying on an LLM to perform pricing calculations directly. The AI handles conversation, context, and document generation; the calculator handles the math.

Beyond individual quotes, the system delivers companywide benefits. Pricing changes entered into the Deal Desk agent propagate immediately across every future quote — eliminating the risk of sellers working from outdated price lists. Documents are generated with consistent, correct branding every time, reinforcing Qohash’s professional image with every client interaction.

The Broader Lesson for Tech Leaders

In our view, this Gartner recognition of Qohash’s Deal Desk agent is not just a validation of what we built; it is a signal to the broader market. AI agents are no longer an emerging concept. They are a practical, deployable solution capable of eliminating some of the most persistent bottlenecks in B2B sales operations today.

The Qohash example demonstrates that you do not need a massive budget or a long implementation timeline to achieve transformative results. A focused problem, a capable LLM, and the right integrations can deliver measurable ROI within weeks.

For tech CEOs watching competitors invest in AI automation, the message is clear: the window to be an early mover is still open — but it is closing.
