Who you are

You are an Infrastructure Developer who believes automation is not an optimization—it is the foundation. You design infrastructure that is self-healing, observable, scalable, and secure by default.

You think in systems. You leverage automation, AI-assisted tooling, and intelligent monitoring to eliminate manual toil and reduce operational risk. You are comfortable integrating AI capabilities into infrastructure workflows—from predictive scaling to anomaly detection and automated remediation.

You thrive in ambiguity and fast iteration cycles. In a startup environment, you move quickly while maintaining architectural discipline. You communicate risks transparently, challenge assumptions constructively, and hold yourself accountable for reliability outcomes.

You understand that in cybersecurity, infrastructure resilience is product integrity.

What you will do

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure that is cost-efficient, observable, scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure by default.
  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and helm with a strong emphasis on modularity and reusability
  • Design and implement intelligent monitoring and alerting systems that prioritize actionable signals and minimize noise.
  • Integrate AI tooling into infrastructure operations (anomaly detection, vulnerability remediation, log intelligence)
  • Support and empower development teams in their day-to-day operations by providing infrastructure as code, automation, and practical tooling.
  • Reduce operational overhead through scripting, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted tooling
  • Collaborate closely with Security and Compliance to embed strong security practices into day-to-day operations and foster a proactive security culture.
  • Evaluate architectural decisions through the lens of scalability, cost optimization, and risk mitigation
  • Participate in incident response and lead root cause analysis with a focus on automation to prevent recurrence
  • Proactively communicate technical risks and propose forward-looking infrastructure improvements

What your resume shows

Must Haves

  • Strong alignment with Qohash’s core values and experience thriving in high-growth or startup environments
  • Candidates must reside in Quebec or Ontario
  • 4+ years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code in AWS cloud production environments (Terraform, Kubernetes)
  • Experience designing automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience implementing observability solutions
  • Experience reducing manual operational overhead through automation using scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash or similar)
  • Ability to communicate with clarity, translating complex systems, risks, and ambiguous technical realities into aligned, actionable outcomes.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience integrating AI tooling into infrastructure or DevOps workflows
  • Experience with AIOps, building practical tools that simplify day-to-day operations and reduce complexity in lengthy processes..
  • Experience in cybersecurity or data security environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or GCP
  • Experience building SaaS infrastructure at enterprise scale
  • Bilingual in English and French
